Diclogesic 1% Gel 30G

Diclogesic Gel is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication.  Diclogesic gel is used to treat pain from recent sprains, strains, and sports injuries to the muscles or joints.  Additionally, it reduces pain from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other conditions.  Diclofenac, the active ingredient, is a member of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) class of pharmaceuticals.  By preventing prostaglandins—lipids with hormone-like properties that cause pain and inflammation—from being synthesized, it reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation.  Additionally, it can be administered locally to treat a variety of rheumatic joint or muscle pains, such as arthritis and shoulder stiffness.
