*An oral rehydration salt called Prolyte Sachets has been developed. It aids in replenishing the fluids and electrolytes lost as a result of dehydration brought on by diarrhea, excessive perspiration from heat, or physical activity.
*Pour 200 mL (1 glass) of water over the full contents of the sachet and mix.
Continue therapy until the diarrhea ceases and the dehydration is resolved.
Age and the degree of dehydration determine the dosage.
