Combining momentasone furoate with salicylic acid is recommended for the treatment of hyperkeratotic and dry corticosteroid responsive dermatoses, such as chronic lichenified eczema, lichen simplex, lichen planus, plaque psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis that is not responsive to less potent cortocosteroids, where the cornified epithelium may prevent steroid penetration.
